Shepherdsville, KY – September 15, 2025 — Owensboro’s own LaDonna Wade has achieved a milestone victory at the 2025 Kentucky State Bodybuilding Championships, held Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Paroquet Springs Conference Center in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Competing against the top female athletes from across the state, LaDonna won the Overall Women’s Bodybuilding Division to earn the coveted title of 2025 Miss Kentucky.
Her commanding performance on stage—judged by IFBB Pro® Judges Bill Sibilia and Gary Udit—displayed months of dedicated training, precise nutrition, and an unwavering passion for the sport. Judges praised LaDonna’s physique for its combination of symmetry, muscularity, and stage presence—qualities that set her apart from an impressive field of competitors.
“I’m deeply honored to bring this title home to Owensboro,” LaDonna said after the event. “This victory represents countless early mornings, late nights, and the support of an incredible coach, my family, friends, and the local Owensboro community at large.”
LaDonna trains locally at Owensboro Gym & Fitness, located on Alvey Park Drive in Owensboro, Kentucky, where she developed the foundation for her championship-winning physique. With this victory, she now qualifies for the 2025 NPC National Championships in Irving, Texas, on December 12–13, 2025, at the Irving Convention Center, where she will have the opportunity to earn an IFBB Pro Card and continue representing her hometown with pride.
The Kentucky State Bodybuilding Championships, held annually in Shepherdsville, draw hundreds of athletes and spectators. The event showcases divisions ranging from novice to elite competitors, making it one of the premier bodybuilding contests in the region.
