This is a paid release.

The Cottage Farm Stand is taking the stress out of the holidays this year with its Christmas Cookie Stroll and a full lineup of festive offerings from Friday, December 12, through Monday, December 22.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, visitors can fill a box with freshly baked cookies and treats during the Cottage Christmas Cookie Stroll. Options include classic favorites like chocolate chip, oatmeal, and peanut butter, as well as seasonal flavors such as peppermint, snickerdoodle, and gingerbread. Guests can also choose from candies, salty snacks, and the Cottage’s famous mini muffins.

Cookies are priced at $9 per pound and are packaged in a bakery box with a ribbon and bow. Owner Marlene Knight said they make a perfect gift or snack.

“Do you need corporate gifts, hostess gifts, or just snacks for the family? These freshly baked, delicious treats are the perfect choice,” Knight said.

Knight added that the holidays should be about spending time with loved ones.

“The holidays should be about enjoying time with loved ones, not stressing over preparation,” she said. “We’re here to help make the season special.”

The Cottage is also offering a variety of holiday meal bundles featuring turkey or roast beef, homemade casseroles, dips, spreads and cheese tortes. Pies, cookies, and other desserts are available for pre-order as well.

Holiday orders must be placed by 5 p.m. on Monday, December 22, at cottagefarmstand.com.

In addition to the cookie stroll, Santa will be on site for photos from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, and Sunday, December 14. On Sunday, Santa will bring his “magical animals” for photo ops. Pets on leashes or in cages are welcome for Sunday photos.

The Cottage Farm Stand is located at 6819 State Route 56 in Sorgho, across from the Sorgho Firehouse. Regular hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Cottage serves breakfast, homemade sandwiches, and hand-pattied burgers using Hillview Farms beef, including menu items like the “Owensburger” and the “Kurdtucky” burger.
