Owensboro Police Department responded to the 4400 block of Medley Road late Friday night for a single-vehicle injury accident.
The driver was initially trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extracted with assistance from the Owensboro Fire Department. The driver was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital by EMS where he later died from his injuries.
Two passengers from the vehicle were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Members of the Accident Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene.
