The Green River District Health Department reported 225 new confirmed COVID-19 infections and 12 coronavirus-related deaths on Friday — with 138 cases and 4 deaths in Daviess County. The newly reported cases were investigated between Tuesday and Thursday.
According to the GRDHD, 53.36% of Daviess Countians have been vaccinated. The current 7-day average is 29.70 new cases per day for Daviess County.
As reported by Green River District Health Department, the seven-county district’s totals to date are:
- Reported cases: 37,159 (16,974 for Daviess)
- Currently hospitalized: 30 (19 for Daviess)
- Ever hospitalized: 1,284 (541 for Daviess)
- Deaths: 593 (271 for Daviess)
