Update, 1:10 p.m. — Power has been restored.
Approximately 2,050 Owensboro Municipal Utilities customers are without power in the northern part of Owensboro. Crews are working to restore power.
According to the OMU Outage Map, power went down at 12:19 p.m.; the map also shows the cause is under investigation.
An OMU official told Owensboro Times they are looking into a time frame on when power will be restored and what caused the outage.
