Southern’s 10U and Daviess County’s 11U teams both won, while Daviess County’s 12U team fell short.

BG East 12 Yr All-Stars 2, Daviess County 12U AllStars 1

Daviess County’s JP Hedges scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the third to cut the lead to one, but they were unable to complete the comeback, losing to BG East 2-1. Owen Gaynor had the team’s lone hit, while Collin Swope drew a walk. Luke Abbott allowed one earned run over 5 2/3 innings, striking out two, while Kellen Overton pitched in relief.

Daviess County 11U All-Stars 8, Southern LL 11U All-Stars 1

Tied 1-1 entering the top of the fourth, Daviess County scored seven runs over the last three innings to beat Southern 8-1. Sam Dever finished 2-3 with an RBI, while Bryce Pedley went 3-3 with an RBI. Camryn Higdon threw a complete game, allowing one earned run over six innings, striking out five.

For Southern, Oliver Kebortz drove in the team’s lone run, while John Blair went 2-2. Collin Davis started on the mound, while Elijah Wallace and David Fentress both pitched in relief.

Southern LL 10U All-Stars 4, WCSLL 10U All-Stars 0

Southern scored three runs in the bottom of the third to beat WCSLL 4-0. Easton Riney went 2-3 with two RBIs, while Jaxon Cernius and Jack Phelan both went 1-2 with a run scored. Henry Evans threw a complete game shutout, striking out three over six innings.
