Old Navy is planning to open in mid-November, and a hiring event has been announced for this Wednesday.
The new store will be located at 2516 Calumet Trace in Gateway Commons.
On Monday, a company spokesperson told Owensboro Times via email that “The store is planned to open for business on Wednesday, 11/12.” The spokesperson said more information about a grand opening event will be announced at a later date.
Last week, the “Kentucky Career Center – Green River – Owensboro” Facebook page posted about a hiring event being held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 15. According to the post, the event will be held at the local Career Center office, located at 3108 Fairview Drive.
“Old Navy reps will be on-site conducting interviews for part-time positions,” according to the post, which adds that those interested can apply online beforehand or submit an application on-site.
The Old Navy jobs website shows applications are being taken for retail sales associate and seasonal retail sales associate.
