Daviess County bowling cruises past Owensboro 2-0

Traveling to Diamond Lanes on Monday evening, it was a clean sweep for Daviess County against rival Owensboro 2-0with the boys winning 5-2 and the girls coming out on top 6-1.

The Panthers were led by Jaxson Unsel, who rolled a game high 248, while Brandon Hall (205), Kason Smith (216), Milan Ferguson (213), Lucas Tincher (215), Alec Jones (208), and Angel Martinez Ortiz (214) all had strong performances. On the girls’ side, Daphne Edwards rolled a new personal high 92.

For Owensboro, Xavier Coomes (253), Dathon Hinton (176, 177), Hayden Bartlett (163), and Trey Douglas (179) led the way for the boys. The Red Devils won both baker games, rolling 161 and 200. On the girls’ side, Zoey Douglas (202), Elizabeth Marshall (133), and Summer Sutherlin (123) all finished with impressive performances.
