Last winter, Owensboro residents helped name the City of Owensboro’s snow plows — and now it’s time to officially meet them.
As winter weather moves in, these six plows will be working around the clock to keep city streets safe and passable:

• Brr-goo
• The Big Drifter
• Winter Whip
• Edward Blizzard Hands
• Snowensboro Times
You might catch one of these plows out on the roads the next time snow starts falling. The names reflect the community’s creativity and add a little personality to the serious work of keeping Owensboro moving during winter weather.
