Rockport, IN- Cheryl Lynne Simons, 67, of Rockport, Indiana passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at her home surrounded by family.
Cheryl was born in Staten Island, New York on December 28, 1954 to the late James Henry and Lola Mae (Hancock) Beckort.
Cheryl was a 1972 graduate of South Spencer High School and had worked as a secretary for several companies. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great granddaughter. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, and traveling.
In addition to her parents, Cheryl is preceded in death by her grandson, Isaiah Horn; and her sisters, Cindy Flores and Pamela Beckort.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Simons of Rockport, IN; her daughter, Shari Percifield and her husband, Mike, of Rockport, IN; her son, Wesley Horn of Rockport, IN; her grandson, Levi Percifield and his wife, Kirstin; her granddaughters, Bailey Percifield, Bre’Kara Horn, Alyvia Horn, and Savannah Horn; her great granddaughter, Lola Percifield; and stepmother, Dorothy Beckort.
Services are 11 A.M. Friday, August 19, 2022 at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana with Pastor Walter Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
Visitation is 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. Thursday, August 18, 2022 and from 9 A.M. until 11 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
