Jerry Francis Hagerman, 75, of Owensboro, passed away May 9, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born October 21, 1943 in Daviess County to the late Francis “Duke” and Mary Irene Hagerman. Jerry was of the Catholic faith and a member of Sts. Joe and Paul Catholic Church. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Jerry enjoyed NASCAR, UK basketball, camping, and spending time with his family. He loved all animals, especially his dog, Josie.
Jerry was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly Hagerman; granddaughter, Emily Wischer; and brother, Andy Hagerman.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Hagerman; sons, Dale (Tammy) Hagerman, Roger (Robin) Hagerman, and Michael (Crystal) Hagerman; daughters, Karen (Dan) Eaton, Christie (Eddie) Beals, Shannon (Matt) Fields, Sandy (Chris) Wischer, and Stacy (Chris) Pedley; 20 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
The funeral mass will be 10am Monday at Sts. Joe and Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Basilio officiating. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2pm until 6pm Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, and 8:30am until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
