Rudolph “Rudy” Luther Douglas, Jr., age 55 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away June 9, 2025, at University Hospital in Louisville, KY. Rudy was born in Louisville on December 4, 1969, son of the late Rudolph Luther Douglas, Sr. and Judy Oranna Lawson Douglas. He attended Mt. Zion Church and was a self-employed painter. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and working on his trucks. He was quite the family man and loved visits with his children and their families.

5 children: Andrew Douglas (Taunya) of Corydon, IN; Nathan Douglas (Vanna) of Upton, KY; Jessica Douglas of Tell City, IN; Sara Douglas of Illinois and Tiffany Sosh (Isaac) of Harned, KY
9 grandchildren: Alissa, Xavier, Naveh, Kingston, Caidence, Emma, Aria, Hunter and Chaisley
2 sisters: Judith Lewis (Bernie) of Lebanon Junction, KY and Theresa Dodson (Gary) of Eastview, KY
Funeral services will be held at Mt. Zion Church on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 2 PM with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday beginning at 10:30 AM. All times are central.
