Sondra Lee Ashton, 59, of Livermore, passed away on June 16, 2025, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born on November 11, 1965, to Jay and Shirley Sutherlin in Owensboro and spent her childhood in McLean County.
Sondra was a free spirit who was full of laughter and a little bit of mischief. She had a knack for making ordinary days feel special. Whether it was a spontaneous adventure or quiet moment with family, she embraced life on her own terms. Sondra adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Her smile was the brightest with sand between her toes and the sun on her face. A longtime fan of Hulk Hogan, Sondra admired his larger-than-life attitude and brought her own version of that flair into every room she walked into.
Sondra was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Jay Sutherlin.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Matt Ashton and Tyler (Anna) Ashton; mother, Shirley Sutherlin; sisters, Leisa Prater and Kim (Brian) Austin; grandchildren, Jaclyne, Jameson, Rayne, and Kenny; as well as many other loving family and friends.
