GREENVILLE—Sharon Sue Edwards, 77, of Greenville, KY died on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. She was born in Rolla, Missouri on March 29, 1948, the daughter of John and Alma Leonard. She was a member of Greenville First Baptist Church and was a nurse. After retiring from Muhlenberg Community Hospital, she taught CNA classes for Russellville Vocational School.
She was preceded in death by her parents and, her second husband Norris Grace.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, conducted by Dr. John Galyen. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville.
She is survived by her husband, Doug Edwards of Greenville, KY; her son, Scott Mugford of Greenville, KY; her daughter, Lisa (Gary) Dennison of Powderly, KY.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home.
