Navy Lynn Purcell, seven months old, of Owensboro, passed away on June 30, 2025. She was born, on November 5, 2024, to Hannah (Barrow) and Romeo Purcell. Navy’s time on earth was brief, but her presence left a lifetime of love in the hearts of those who knew her. With her bright eyes, sweet spirit, and the softest of smiles, Navy brought immeasurable joy and light to everyone around her.
Navy is preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Allen Barrow, and her brother, Karson Purcell.
Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Hannah (Barrow) and Romeo Purcell; her siblings, Ayden and Parker Purcell; her grandparents, Kelly and Eric Barrow; her uncles, Tyler (Veronica) Sheaffer and Logan Barrow; great-grandparents Ken Sheaffer, Vickie Bandy, Sandy Barrow, Thelma and Roy Purcell; great great-grandmother Irene Madlem; along with several cherished cousins.
Services will be at 11:00 am, on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory. Friends and family are invited to visitation, on Saturday, July 5, 2025, from 9:00 am until the time of service, at the funeral home. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
