Michael “Mike” Wayne Hoover, 69, of Owensboro, passed away on July 1, 2025, while at the Heartford House under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. He was born October 25, 1955, in Daviess County, and was the beloved son of the late Ansel and Georgia Mae Hoover.
Mike was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, as well as watching western cowboy T.V. shows and movies.
In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Lindsey, and siblings, Annabelle, Raymond, and David Joe Hoover.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 46 years, Margaret Hoover; children, Michelle Reeder, Curtis Hoover, and Christy (Tyler) Farris; sister, Priscila Hanks; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild on the way; as well as many other loving family and friends.
