Mary Louise Eskridge, 82, of Hardinsburg, Ky, died on July 7, 2025 at Breckinridge Memorial Nursing Facility. She was born in Hardinsburg, Ky. on February 26, 1943 to the late Austin Pate and Ethel Maysey Pate. Mary was a homemaker and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She was a wonderful seamstress and loved making crafts and sewing for her grandchildren. Mary loved the beach, reading and taking care of her family. She was also a huge UK basketball fan; when a game was on TV, all other activities stopped.
Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Paul and her sister, Anna Raye.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph “Shake” Eskridge

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 11, 2025 at New Bethel Baptist Church
Visitation will be Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 4 – 8 PM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Stephensport, Ky
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Bethel Baptist Church
