Bruce Wayne Chappell, 66, of Owensboro, passed away on July 6, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on May 30, 1959, and was the beloved son to the late Gunthrie and Georgia “Martel” Chappell. Bruce worked as a concrete laborer for 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hanging out with friends, fishing, and arrowhead hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Sandra Chappell and Connie Hockenberry.
Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Vickie (Joe) Schmid and Larry (Linda) Chappell, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Burial will be held privately.
