Ima Jean Beasley, 88, of Fordsville, made her entrance into heaven Saturday, July 5, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister. She was a member of Sugar Grove Bible Baptist Church.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Russel Lee Beasley on May 16, 2023; her parents, Anna Mae and Dennis Johnson Sr.; her brothers, Earl Johnson, Billy Johnson, and Dennis Johnson Jr.; and her sisters Helen Bolton and Lois Eaton.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Robin (Larry) Rearden, Debra (David) McManaway, Tammy (Dane) Calloway, and Kristie (Steve) Thren; grandchildren, Larry Rearden Jr., Aaron Rearden, Shannon Hoekman, Amber Taulbee, David Lee McManaway, Eddie Calloway III, Adam Calloway, Seth Calloway, Ranson Thren, Ethan Thren, Bethany Thren, Breanna Ray and Karissa Thren; 28 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and a sister, Judy Tate.
A funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 13, at 3:00 p.m. at Sugar Grove Bible Baptist Church, with burial following at Sugar Grove Bible Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Sunday, July 13, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
