Wanda Lee Edwards, 91, of Powderly, KY passed away on Saturday, July 12th, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Muhlenberg County Kentucky on July 9th, 1934, the daughter of Lonnie Jewell Moore and Lillie D. Duvall Moore. She was a member at Mercer Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time outdoors whether fishing, dancing, or simply enjoying the outdoors. She was an avid piano player and remained active throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hildred Edwards, two sons, Doug Edwards and Jeff Wilkins, as well as five sisters and two brothers.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Old Bethel Cemetery in Greenville. Burial will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, David Edwards of Powderly, KY; Two daughters, Teresa Faye Puryear of Greenville, KY and Tracey (Steve) Kulijof of Greenville, KY; One sister, Patsy Finley of Missouri; Nine grandchildren; Five great-grandchildren; Five great-great-grandchildren.
