Hurley Jackson, 47 of Owensboro, KY passed away, Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Evansville, IN on January 8, 1978, to Hurley Thomas and the late Linda Jackson.
Hurley was a man who lit up every room he entered—outspoken, charming, and full of life. He had a gift for making people laugh and feel seen, and his presence alone could turn an ordinary day into something special. Always stylish, he took pride in looking good—whether it was his signature jewelry, a fresh outfit, or the cologne he wore so well. He loved to grill, especially when it meant sharing good food and conversation, and his porch was his favorite place to relax, watch the neighborhood, and see who might drop by for a chat.
Aside from his mother he was preceded in death by a brother, Duke Jackson.
Those left to cherish Hurley’s memory include his children, Tymesha Jackson, Mahogeny Douglas, Nashiem Owsley, Tashea Jackson, and Tashiya Jackson; long-time girlfriend, Natasha Stewart; siblings, Neil Jackson, Lovey Jackson, Maurice Jackson, Denise Madison, Allen Waller, Duron Johnson, Hurley Thomas, Kentral Washington, and Devon Thomas. He was blessed with two grandchildren, True Jackson, and Kamden Collier.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hurley Jackson Memorial Fund. Contributions can be made to the funeral home.
Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory is honored and privileged to be entrusted with Hurley Jackson’s care. Please leave condolence messages for the family of Mr. Jackson and sign their virtual guestbook at www.haleymcginnis.com.
