Lisa D. Jewell,62, of Owensboro, passed away peacefully July 21, 2025 at Chautauqua Health and Rehabilitation surrounded by family. She was born February 27, 1963, in Daviess County, KY to the late Henry and Mary Hamilton Jewell. Lisa was of the Catholic faith and a member of Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. Besides her family, Lisa had three must-haves each day: reading, plain potato chips, and Diet Coke. She was also a former employee of the Opportunity Center in Owensboro. For the last three years, Lisa was a resident of Chautauqua Health and Rehabilitation, where she enjoyed various activities. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the care and support given to Lisa, making her final years more enjoyable through their compassionate assistance.
Lisa is survived by a brother, Tim Jewell; uncle, Tommy (Linda) Hamilton; aunt, Debra Hamilton, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. A private burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
