Linda Clark Alford, 68, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at her daughter’s home. She was born in Evansville, Indiana to the late Leon Bradley Clark and Ann Marie West Phillips.
Linda earned her associates degree through the University of Louisville while working in their hospital as a phlebotomist. She continued her career at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
She was baptized at Garden Green Baptist Church many years ago. As a younger lady, Linda enjoyed swimming, fishing and hunting. She also enjoyed playing the piano, knitting and crafts, especially making doll dresses.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Krystal Vanover; a son, Daniel Vanover; grandchildren, Felicia Shepherd (Ryan), Jonathon Velka (Shawna), Alyssa Waugh, Zachary Mansfield, Tesah Vanover and Megan Vanover Ridge; and ten great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 4:00 PM, Sunday, August 3 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be held from 2:00 until the time of service.
