Junior Ray Hay, 75, of Stephensport, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on December 9, 1949, in Flemming County Kentucky and was the beloved son of the late Charlie Hay and Lida Skaggs-Hay.
Junior was an easy-going man who enjoyed the simple things in life, like a hearty bowl of beans and cornbread, spending time in his garage tinkering, or bush hogging the fields. He had a soft spot for animals and was often in the company of the cats and dogs he befriended over the years.
In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by his son, Michael Hay, and siblings, Bonnie Parrott, Albert, Billy and Gladys Hay.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Jeremy (Ashley) Hay; grandchildren, Chris (Cassie) Hay, Jacob (Brooke) Pace, Michael, Raylee, Jordyn, and Landyn Hay; siblings, Charles B. Hay, and Emily Hay; great-grandchildren, Mason and one on the way; as well as many other loving family and friends.
