Paul Ray Kamuf, 72, of Owensboro, KY, passed away on August 29, 2025. He was born on December 30, 1952, to the late Richard and Kathleen Garst Kamuf.
Paul found joy and peace in the simple pleasures of life. He loved driving through the countryside, taking in the beauty of the open road, and he cherished roadside farming, a pastime that connected him to the land and brought him a sense of fulfillment.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Brian (Ashley) Kamuf and Jeremy Kamuf; his grandchildren, Keleigh Payne, Clayton Kamuf, Hillary Payne and Parker Peters; his siblings, Rose (the late Earl) Hayden, Ronnie (Kay) Kamuf, Becky (Bob) Swoyer, Rob (Jane) Kamuf, Roger (Susan) Kamuf, Randy (Lisa) Kamuf, Nancy (Jeff Jones) Kamuf, and Rita (Marty) Jacobs, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his sister, Rachael Kamuf, and his brother, Rick Kamuf.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Precious Blood Catholic Church, with Father Carl McCarthy presiding. Friends and family are invited to visitation, at the church, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A graveside committal service will take place, at Resurrection Cemetery, following services.
