David ‘Dalton’ Mucker, age 80 of Cloverport, KY passed away September 3, 2025, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Breckinridge County on April 26, 1945, son of the late Walter and Annie Mildred Robinson Mucker. Dalton attended Cloverport Wesleyan Church and worked in the janitorial department at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. Dalton enjoyed fishing, hunting, searching for arrowheads, metal detecting, painting and watching westerns.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Wright Mucker and siblings Mary Hall, Beatric Dean, Eloise Brown, Vonnie Sullivan, Edna Carey, Walter Mucker, Tommy Mucker, Ray Mucker and Alma Henderson.
Dalton is survived by 4 children: Daltonia Duncan of North Carolina; Tonya Ubelhor of Ferdinand, IN; Tammy Lucas (Sam) of McQuady, KY and Audra Brown (Jacob) of Irvington, KY
10 grandchildren: Jacob Scott, Kendra Ubelhor, Dakota Jones, Jordan Duncan, Caleb Lucas, Shane Lucs, Kaeden Finley, Karson Bryant, Keegan Brown and Maddox Brown
3 great grandchildren: Asher Jones, Kaizley Lucas and Kamiyah Hunt
2 sisters: Linda Sue Hildreth of Nebraska and Rochelle Duncan of Irvington, KY
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 7 PM with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Monday, 4 – 7 PM. All times are central.
