Linda Eilleen Blevins, 59, of Owensboro passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born April 19, 1966, in Christine, Missouri to the late Freedom S. Yocum and Eilleen Dixon Yocum. Linda was such an amazing mother and grandmother to all her family. Her smile and laughter lit up every room she sat in. Linda was more than a mother; she was a best friend. Someone her children could depend on if they needed help, someone who never gave up on the people she loved the most. Linda always had a unique way of making others feel better by staying by their side and telling them she loved them with all her heart, and by simply saying, “It will get better”! Her favorite saying was, “I’m not the crazy one, I’m just a little out there”.
Those left to cherish her memory include her six children, James “Jimmy” Duncan (Laurie Lindsey) of Owensboro, John Dishmon of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Ronald “R.J. Blevins, Sharla Palmore (Michael) of Westport, Oregon, Endeca Cook (Thomas) of Newport, Oregon, and Cristeen Gooden (John) of Warrenton, Oregon; grandchildren, Kamaillee, Leilani, Tristan, Isabella, Eli, Gabriel, Tatseana-Maree, Bailey, Myron, Mystique, Brittnee, Lucas, Wyatt, Austin, Dustin, Gabe, and Leiana; siblings, Bert Robertson, Carla Robertson, and Steve Robertson; as well as many other loving family and friends.
