Catherine “Denise” Johnson, 57, of Hartford, passed away on September 18, 2025, under the compassionate care of Hospice of Ohio County. She was born on October 25, 1967, in Orrville, Ohio, to Darrell C. Cook and Eudena E. White-Cook.
Denise found happiness in the little thing’s life had to offer. She enjoyed playing board games and card games, often bringing joy and laughter to those lucky enough to join her at the table. Her artistic side shone through in her love for coloring and crafting macramé, where she expressed her creativity with patience and care.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Eudena E. White-Cook, and brother, Darrell Pete Cook.
Those left to cherish her memory include her father, Darrell C. Cook; son, Luke (Reva) Willis; stepchildren, Richard Johnson, Sean Johnson, and Heather Johnson; brother, Delmar “Steve” Cook; grandchildren, James “Randy” Willis, Kara Willis, and Zoe Willis; dog, Chloe; as well as many other loving family and friends.
A private memorial service will be held to honor Denise’s life.
