Marie Wright Wilson Finn, age 81 of Harned, KY passed away September 27, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Garfield, KY on August 1, 1941, daughter of the late Dr. Charles Wilson and Reba E. Wright. Marie was a member of Talbert Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a Clinical Lab Technician at Ireland Army Hospital in Fort Knox, KY. She attended Watterson College and continued her education at Lincoln Institute in Jefferson City, MO where she was a member of the AKA Sorority. Marie was very involved with church activities, enjoyed music, shopping – especially at Belk, traveling, flowers, animals, hats, collecting teddy bears, watching HGTV, westerns and cooking shows, even though she did not like to cook, but loved what others prepared. She displayed many pictures in her home of family and friends, but hated having hers made. Marie loved giving to others and was very thoughtful in the gifts she gave. She loved trees and her yard was like a forest – she said she was born in the woods, so her yard would look like one.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Herman Finn, who she met at church camp.
Marie is survived by her Godchildren: Rebbie and Patrick Edmonds
Stepson Herman Finn, Jr., his wife Shannon and their children Parker, Chase, Connor, Chloe, Annabell and Sebastian.
