Suzanne Brown Baber, 71, of Franklin, Tennessee, formerly of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She was born March 23, 1954 in Owensboro to the late Charles and Bettye Byrd Brown. Suzanne had worked as a registered nurse. Her first job was at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, then she worked at various other hospitals. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Walton.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bruce Baber; son, Chris Baber of Spring Hill, TN; daughter, Lauren Covington (Brian) of Hendersonville, TN; two grandchildren, Grace and Evan; two sisters-in-law, Dianne Baber of Owensboro and Sharon Baber of Louisville; and a brother-in-law, Mike Walton of Maysville, KY.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
