Michael Davis, 69, passed away on September 1, 2025, in Owensboro, Kentucky. He was born on February 19, 1956, and was the beloved son to the late Charles Wayne and Edna Kate Davis. Michael left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Michael was a man of distinctive character—truly one of a kind. His passions were as bold and spirited as he was. He found joy and freedom riding motorcycles, a pursuit that reflected his independent spirit and love for the open road. A dedicated collector of firearms, Michael appreciated craftsmanship and history, and he took pride in curating his collection. He also had a deep enthusiasm for racing, drawn to the thrill and precision of the sport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Wayne Davis and Etta Kate Hancock.
Family was an important part of Michael’s life, and he leaves behind his three sons, Thomas Michael Ryan Davis, Adam Elliott Scott Davis, and Cy Phillips; five grandchildren, Hadley Davis, Trystan Davis, Graham Davis, Cole Davis, and Porter Davis, who brought him great pride and joy; two sisters, Betsy Gillman and Sloan Burton; and two brothers, Jim Davis and Dustin Davis.
His memory will live on through those who shared his passions and those who carry forward his legacy. May his memory bring comfort to all those who knew him.
