Laura Etta Hall Casebier, 63, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at her home. She was born November 13, 1961 in Owensboro to the late Hillary Ray Hall Sr. and Shelba Bartlett Hall. Laura taught special education at Hancock County High School and Hancock County Middle School for 23 years and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She liked to crochet, sew, and traveling with her granddaughter. But most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Ann Carden and Bonnie Sue Moore.
She is survived by a daughter, Christina Adkins (Steven); three grandchildren, Lydia, Caleb, and Layla; sister, Peggy Wiggins (Adam); brothers, Hillary “Ray” Hall (Paula), James Hall, and Roger “Buck” York (Marie); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
