Brad Allen Crawford, 62, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Born on November 22, 1962, in Mayfield, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Jimmy Crawford and Bobbie Bailey Crawford. Brad graduated from Mayfield High School in 1980 and dedicated his time to serving his country in the United States Air Force from 1983 to 1991. This experience significantly influenced his future endeavors, leading him to pursue a career in landscaping. He eventually became a Master Cosmetologist, working in various salons throughout the Owensboro area. Brad found immense joy in his outdoor work, meticulously tending to his plants and ensuring they were the best in the neighborhood. He also had a passion for art, creating beautiful masterpieces that reflected his love and warmth for everyone. Known for his friendly nature, Brad was always the social butterfly in any room, never meeting a stranger.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Steve Britton, and nephew Andrew McKinney.
Brad is survived by his loving husband, Brad Green. He is also survived by his sisters, Reta Crawford Britton of Murray, Kentucky, and twin sister, Beth Crawford Knox of Crestview, Florida. Brad leaves behind his beloved cats, Boog and Bailey, as well as his nieces, nephews, and well as great-nieces and nephews.
Brad’s funeral services will be held privately. Burial will take place in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
