Thomas G. Applegate, 74, of Owensboro, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025. He was born in Louisville on February 17, 1951, to the late John P. and Kay O. Applegate.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Brian T. Applegate, Anne E. DelCarmen of Owensboro, and Jennifer C. (Alperen) Atmaca of Indianapolis; brothers, Steve Allen Applegate of Houston and Mike Applegate of Parkers Lake; sister, Johnnie Sue Chavez; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; as well as many other loving family and friends.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Hospital for Children, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
A private service will be held to honor Thomas’ life.
