John “Jack” Alan Edwards, 81, of Owensboro, passed away on November 3, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville. He was born on February 26, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, and was the beloved son of the late John and Mary Edwards.
As a young man, Jack graduated with distinction from Culver Military Academy, where he developed the discipline and leadership skills that would guide him throughout his life. He went on to become a licensed pilot, embracing the thrill and freedom of flight. His adventurous spirit also led him to race P-Class hydroplane boats, where his skill and determination shone through. Above all, Jack was a kind, caring, and loving father.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Ellis; grandson, Kyle Bailey; and significant other, Connie Bradburn.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Jennifer Biller (Craig Gagliardi); granddaughter, Kendall-Ann; great-grandchildren, Kyla-Skye, Kalea, Raidyn, Arieana, and Angelique; and his loving canine companion, Coco.
