James “Tom” Snell, 81, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Chautauqua Health and Rehabilitation. The Owensboro native was born on December 10, 1943, and was the beloved son to the late Walter “Bud” and Mary Helen Snell. Tom retired from Century Aluminum after many years of dedicated work.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Silvana Snell, and brother, Mark Snell.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Lisa Glahn, Jason Snell, and Michael Snell; siblings, Diane Bruckner and Terry Snell; granddaughter, Grace; and great-granddaughter, Nora; as well as his beloved canine companion, Roxie.
