Remembering the Life of Love and Legacy of Sandra Earlene Hagan, a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and dedicated educator, entered the heavenly realm on November 8, 2025, after a life rich in faith and enduring love.
Born on August 21, 1946, to William Earl and Ruby Mae Freeman. Sandra grew up as the oldest of five siblings, a role that likely fostered the nurturing spirit she carried throughout her life.
Her beautiful legacy began with a profound love story. On May 1, 1965, she married her soulmate, George S Hagan III. Their partnership spanned an incredible six decades, a testament to their unwavering commitment. George survives her and deeply misses his bride of 60 years.
She was the loving mother of three children, George S. Hagan IV (Melissa), Jennifer (David) Lyons and Heather Lane; the devoted grandmother of eleven, and the proud great-grandmother of one, instilling in each generation the values of kindness and perseverance.
For the majority of her career, Sandra found her true calling in the classroom, teaching early elementary children. She shaped the minds and hearts of countless young students, leaving an indelible mark on her community through her passion for education.
In her personal life, she found immense joy and peace by the sea. She loved the beach and the ocean, a place where she could rest and be renewed. In recent years, she faced significant challenges with her health. Yet, even in her suffering, she exhibited incredible strength and grace, a true reflection of her resilient spirit and deep faith.
While her family grieves her passing, they take solace in the absolute truth that she is now in the presence of her Savior, whole and rejoicing. Her life was a testament to love, service, and a quiet strength that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
