William Tony House, 69, of Maceo, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. He was born in Owensboro to the late William T. and Margie House.
Tony was a proud veteran of both, the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Army. He retired from Hood Container where he worked in shipping and receiving. He had also worked for General Electric for several years prior to their move.
Tony loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He liked to tinker and was a great mechanic. Many will remember him for his good sense of humor and generosity with his time and resources.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a young son, James Andrew and siblings, Kathy Graves, Mary Alys Bratcher, Edwin “Snooky” Nash and Robert House.
Tony is survived by children, Jennifer Johnson, Carisa Rideout, Stephanie Millay, and William T. House, Jr.; grandchildren, Billy Joe Stone, Tristan Rideout, Aidan Brooks and Anahlei P. House; great-granddaughter, Indica Rose Rideout; two sisters, Sheila House and LaNell McElwain; brother-in-law, Rick Graves; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 15 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
