
Wanda Lee Pennington, 90, of Owensboro, passed away at Chautauqua Health and Rehabilitation November 9 , 2025. She was born on April 27, 1935, in Morgantown, KY, to the late Aud Proctor and Josie Christie Proctor.
Wanda retired from Westinghouse Electric Corporation, where she worked for many years as a dedicated general laborer. She had a deep appreciation for classic country music, especially the timeless songs of Conway Twitty and Hank Williams. Known for her gentle spirit and kind heart, Wanda touched the lives of everyone she met and held a special love for animals.
Along with her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her first husband, Tom Foreman; her husband, William Aud Pennington; her son, Charles Thomas Foreman, and her son-in-law, Harold Bruce.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Josie Bruce, grandchildren, Jeff Foreman, Christopher Hall, Tiffany Hall and Christi Hagan; many great-grandchildren; and five siblings.
Services will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, November 17, 2025, in the chapel of Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery, with burial to follow at Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery.
