Tracy Lynn Wallace Centeno, 57, of Owensboro, passed away on November 12, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on June 16, 1968, to the late Rita Kempf.
Tracy enjoyed cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and the University of Louisville Cardinals, playing bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Tracy’s passion for her teams reflected the spirit she brought to everything she did, spirited, dedicated, and full of heart. Whether cheering on a game, spending time with family, or lending a helping hand, she made every moment meaningful. Tracy will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Tracy lived her life with kindness, humor, and a deep sense of loyalty to those she cared for most.
Tracy is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rita Kempf; her husband, Eric Centeno; her brother, David Wallace; her nephews, Tyler Hamilton and David Wallace, Jr., and great-niece, Emma Hamilton.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Spenser Wallace, Christian (Datoria) Dean; her sisters, Tammy (Oren) Metts and Terri (Louis) Payne; her grandchildren, Kierra, Jonathan, Chrislynn, Christian, Caleb, Jade, Tyreeq, and Szmyia, and several cherished nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, and will resume on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
