Willetta Littlepage Harper

Willetta Littlepage Harper, 95, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky at the Heartford House. She was born on March 23, 1930, to Herman and Cosette Mackey Littlepage in Clay, KY. She graduated in 1948 as valedictorian of Beech Grove High School. She enjoyed UK and Kentucky Wesleyan basketball and traveled extensively on the Kentucky Wesleyan Panther Express. She and her husband visited all fifty states and six countries in Europe. She retired from General Electric after thirty-nine years.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Martha Grace Sunday School Class. She loved her Lord and family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years, Hugh Harper and her sister Wanda Lee Thompson.

She is survived by her children Diane (Ron) Collier of Owensboro and Dana (Greg) Catron of Louisville. Grandchildren Karen (Ben) Hamlet of Hartford, Chris (Sarah) Collier of Sellersburg, Indiana, Jared Catron and Blake Catron of Louisville. Great-grandchildren Tristan Collier of Owensboro and Savannah Collier of Sellersburg, Indiana, her sister Elmina McDaniel of Newburgh, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
