Scott Alan Pickrell, 70, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born September 6, 1955 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late James Pickrell and Joyce Survant Taylor. Scott retired from Texas Gas, where he worked as an electrical engineer. He was a member of Walnut Memorial Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, H.T. Taylor.
He is survived by a sister, Gloria Bullington; nephews, Jared Bullington (Melissa) and Aaron Bullington (Sarah); and nieces and nephews, Emmie, Emersyn, Eastynn, Jase, and Josie Bullington.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation is from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
