James Martin Rhineburger, Sr., 69, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born May 11, 1956 in Daviess County to the late James F. Rhineburger and Betty White Rhineburger. Jimmy was a member of Christ Community Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Chapman Rhineburger.
He is survived by four sons, James M. Rhineburger, Jr. (Kristen), Randy Rhineburger, Andy Rhineburger (Jessica) and Kevin Rhineburger; a daughter, Samantha Howard (Jeremy); 13 grandchildren, Madison and Gradie Marie Howard, and Denver, Sicilly, James, Jersie, Christopher, Bryson, Jason, Paisley Jewel, Mary Dean, Noah, and Libby Reese Rhineburger; four great-grandchildren, Zachary, Rylie Grace, Zarah, and Knox; two brothers, Johnny Rhineburger (Barbara) and Donald Rhineburger; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
