Darrell Dean Payne, age 68 of Florence, Al passed away December 16, 2025, in Huntsville, AL. He was born in Montgomery, KY on March 17, 1957, son of the late Charles and Dora Payne.
Darrell retired from his family farm of Tobacco and cattle. He was an avid UK Wildcat fan, he enjoyed watching basketball and taking pictures of farm land, and spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Reva Cody, and brother Billy (Betty) Brien.
Darrell is survived by his forever love, Terri Dudley Payne. 3 Step children Roland Russell, Mark (Chella) Lero, Robert (Pamela) Dudley. 5 Grandchildren Dylan Dudley, Delanie (Tyree) Dudley Murphy, Christian Lero, Mark ||| Lero, Roland Dean Russell. 2 great grand children Willow Forest and Julianna Mayberry. 3 sisters Phyllis (Richard) Roberts, Cheryl (Clyde) Hunt, Linda (Jerry) Henchon. And many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Payne chose cremation and a private celebration of life at a later date.
