Clara M. Moorman, 98, went home to meet her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025. She was born Feb. 17, 1927 to the late Raymond Willis and Virgie M. Gilbert Willis in Owensboro, KY and is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard L. Moorman Sr., and a son, Barry D. Moorman.
She attended Western High School, was a lifelong member of Asbury United Methodist Church and spent the last 25 years of her life in Houston TX.
Clara is survived by her children, Richard L. Moorman Jr. and wife, Ha Moorman, Donna L. Collins, Raymond A. Moorman, William P. Moorman and wife, Sarijane Moorman, Bruce D. Moorman; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Clara leaves behind a legacy of Faith, Love and Inspiration to all who were blessed to have known her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A memorial service will be held on Jan. 17, 2026, 2 p.m. at Unity Fellowship Church 625 Allen Street, Owensboro, KY.
