Margaret Catherine “Pee Wee” Dowell, age 78 of Webster, KY passed away December 25, 2025, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born in Louisville, KY on February 24, 1947, daughter of the late Harry Gilbert and Minnie Elizabeth Seay Ransdell. Margaret retired from Eleanor Beard Studio where she was employed as a cutter. She grew up with many brothers and sisters and loved family gatherings. She enjoyed sewing, reading, working crossword puzzles, playing Monopoly Go and watching The Young and The Restless.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son William Dowell and her siblings Gary Ransdell, Joseph Ransdell, Betty Black, Mary Hibbs, Joann Middleton and Shirley Ransdell.
Margaret is survived by her husband Tommy Owen Dowell. They were married on June 23, 1967.
3 children: Shannon Hockenberry (Bradley), Brett Dowell (Jennifer) and Jeanette Warren (Barry)
Daughter-in-law: Rita Dowell
11 grandchildren: Alexis, Kelsey, Natalie, Andrew, Dalton (Zach), Austin, Tiffany, Tom, Jason, Travis and Jacob (Collin).
14 great grandchildren: Ivory, Holley, Landon, Raelynn, Carter, Shamon, Kamryn, Lainey, Lawson, Declan, Jason Jr., Katlyn, Brooklyn and Jeremy.
4 brothers and sisters: Billy Ransdell (Donna), Doug Ransdell, Denise Winters (Jimmy) and Patricia Mattingly (Lawrence – deceased).
Her favorite cousin and best friend who was like a sister: Linda Justice

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 1 PM with burial in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Tuesday. All times are central.
