Helen June Yoquelet, 89, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025. She was born on June 22, 1936 in Pikeville, KY to the late Lowell and Lizzie Irick Adkins.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Roy Kenneth Yoquelet, Jr; sister, Joyce Campbell; and brother, Don Adkins.
Survivors include her son, David Mark Steele (Lori); two sisters, Laurel King and Eulavene Edmonds (Jim); and two step-children, Roy K. Yoquelet III (Stacie) and Sandra Green (Denny).
There will be no services. James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
