Louise O’Steen, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 29, 2025. She was born to the late James and Eunice Shaw in 1940 near Whitesville. Louise was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her children, Ursula & Demir; brothers, James Harlan and Lee Roy Shaw; and many nieces and nephews, including Terry Shaw of Owensboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia May, Mary Ellen, Marie, and Rose, whom she missed every day.
She will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Private burial will follow.
