
Pamilla “Millie” Crawford, 85, of Owensboro passed away January 20, 2026. She was born on June 22, 1940, to the late Orvel Mason McElroy and Hazel Ellen Boyle.
Millie dedicated many years of her life to General Motors, where she worked as a Tool and Die Maker and Crane Operator. A proud Kentucky Colonel and longtime member of the United Auto Workers (UAW), she was deeply involved in her community and workplace, serving as Treasurer for the Hospitality Club. Millie was a faithful member of Wing Avenue Baptist Church, where her faith and fellowship were important parts of her life. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family. In her leisure, she enjoyed playing bingo and traveling, embracing each opportunity to connect, relax, and make lasting memories.
Along with her parents, Millie is preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Edmond Crawford; her siblings, Jerry Allen McElroy, Reginald Ray McElroy, and Phyllis D Trodglen McCollam, and her nephew, Chad Trodglen.
Those left to cherish her memory include her cherished nieces and nephews, Cindy (Mike) Heep, Krista (Jason) Niehaus Trodgen, Clifford (Veronica) Ray McElroy, Jennifer (Tim) Edwards, Tony (Gretchen) Trodglen, Tracey (Andy) Trodgen Wright, Melinda (Chris Roder) McElroy, Melissa (Charlie) McElroy Elve, Letitia (Dan) McElroy Christman.
A Memorial Services will be 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory, with Pastor Anthony Cobb officiating. Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date at Pleasant Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Elba, KY.
