Gerald “Tom” Carlyle, 77, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born June 17, 1948 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to the late Gerald and Eleanor Nolan Carlyle. Tom had worked as a driver for UPS and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He enjoyed being involved with the XClaim Bowling Green Youth Theatre.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Carlyle; and sisters, Sherry Basil and Pam Schell.
He is survived by his wife, Joni Cravens; sister, Cinda Carlyle; brother-in-law, Richard Schell; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no service or visitation.
